WHAT AGENTS CAN DO · DAILY PLAYBOOK
Issue #013 · Oct 27, 2026 · 5 min read
My favorite one today is about something most of us put off for years. One guy gave Grok Bot a screenshot of his home and auto insurance and told it to price shop. It compared the coverages, emailed his agent, and handled the back and forth, and he ended up saving nearly $2,000 a year with better coverage.

2. 84 Practice Questions From a Free Harvard Course: Claude Code Turned the CS50 Transcript Into a Self-Quiz That Strikes Through What He's Mastered

Beginner: easy, no coding · Source-linked: links to the original post · Research

An oncologist finished Harvard's free CS50 course on edX and wanted to practice, not just watch. He pasted the free course transcript into Claude Code and asked for an HTML page of questions that test his understanding. When he answers a question, the part of the transcript it covers gets struck through. A few minutes later he had 84 practice questions.

3. 9 Specialist Bots, One Job Each: A Real Estate Agent's Grok Bot Team Files Call Transcripts, Drafts Counteroffers and Runs His Ads

Intermediate: a bit of setup · Source-linked: links to the original post · Business ops

A real estate agent toured the Grok Bot setup that runs much of his business. Instead of one big bot he has specialists: a Chief of Staff that reads each call transcript when his meeting recorder fires a webhook and routes it, a transaction coordinator bot that drafts emails, addendums and counteroffers and tracks every deal, an inbox bot, a revenue-share tracker, a social posting bot, a Skool community bot, a Facebook ads bot, a YouTube Shorts bot and a referral watcher.

4. $28,335 Over 7 Months, 9,350 Commits: What One Developer's Coding Agent Logs Showed About Running Agents in Parallel

Advanced: technical, uses coding tools · Source-linked: links to the original post · Coding

A developer analyzed seven months of his own Claude Code and Codex logs: 1,432 sessions and about 200,000 tool calls. Spend jumped 7.4x in April when he started running agents in parallel git worktrees instead of one conversation at a time. He stepped in about every 15 tool calls and interrupted runs 2,047 times, and only 0.7% of activity happened overnight. He had about 130 skills installed but used them 52 times, mostly one release chore.

About 20 nodes, alerts only after 2 failed checks in a row

5. No Fake Price-Drop Alerts: An n8n Monitor Checks Product Pages Every Morning and Only Pings Telegram When Price or Stock Really Changes

Intermediate: a bit of setup · Source-linked: links to the original post · Shopping

A builder shared a roughly 20-node n8n workflow that checks a list of product pages every morning and alerts on Telegram only when a price or stock status actually changes. The first run just records a baseline, prices are read from structured data before falling back to page selectors, a failed read never overwrites the last good value, and the admin is only alerted after 2 failures in a row. He tested it end to end on two public practice shops.
