WHAT AGENTS CAN DO · DAILY PLAYBOOK
Issue #018 · Nov 1, 2026 · 5 min read
My favorite one today is a shared-office owner in Tokyo who built a tenant chatbot in about two hours with Claude Code. He wrote the rules himself, so the bot gives the first reply and anything it can't handle, like a water leak, goes straight to a person. I like that he decided where the hard stuff goes before he let AI answer anyone.

TODAY'S TOP RESULT
Built in about 2 hours, rolling out to about 40 tenant companies

1. A Tenant Chatbot Built in 2 Hours for a Shared Office: Claude Code Built the Slack Bot, It Answers First and Hands Water Leaks to a Person

Intermediate: a bit of setup · Source-linked: links to the original post · Business ops

A shared-office owner in Tokyo has one employee running three locations, handling tenant messages, equipment trouble and viewings. He used Claude Code to build a Slack app that gives tenants a first reply. He wrote the rules himself: if this kind of message comes in, reply like this; if that kind comes in, report it to this channel in this format. Anything the bot can't answer, like a water leak, goes to a person. He also wants a summary of each day's inquiries every morning, and he'd already built a way to message all tenants at once. After a test run he planned to roll it out to about 40 tenant companies. He expects it to save the employee 1 to 3-4 hours a day (his estimate, not a measured result).

2 bots: a librarian that files everything and a researcher that fills the gaps

2. A Therapist's Research Library With Its Own Librarian Bot: Grok Bot Files Years of Studies and Worksheets and Builds Cited Client Handouts

Intermediate: a bit of setup · Source-linked: links to the original post · Research

A therapist and author fed years of collected research and the therapy tools she uses with clients into a private library run by Grok Bots. A librarian bot tagged and filed the first import into collections and keeps it maintained without her. A research bot points out thin areas and fills gaps. When she needs something for a client, it builds a printable, cited handout from what's in the library (or searches for more sources), she reviews it, and it gets added back in. Her second use: she gave a bot screenshots of her YouTube thumbnails, it found the videos and drafted a post for each on her website with the metadata, and after she reviewed them she set a routine to do it after every new video.

3. Make Your Grok Bot React to Email Fast Without Burning Tokens: A Gmail Plus-Address Filter Forwards Only Tagged Mail to Its Own Inbox

Beginner: easy, no coding · Source-linked: links to the original post · Inbox & communication

Grok Bots don't get push alerts for your regular Gmail, so they have to check on a schedule, and checking often burns tokens. This tip fixes that: sign up or ask people to reply using a tagged address like [email protected], then add a Gmail filter that forwards only those tagged emails to your Grok Bot's own email address, which does get push notifications. When a tagged email lands, the bot runs the matching routine right away. Keep one scheduled sweep a day as a backup.

A dad asked Grok Bot to build his 5- and 8-year-old kids their own origami Page. It shows big pictures, one fold at a time, with easy, medium and pro models to choose from. He says the kids love it and he doesn't need an origami teacher. A simple way to turn a kid's new hobby into a step-by-step guide made for their age.

2 paths: confidence-gated lead scoring and reply triage

5. Only Unsure Leads Wait for a Human: A Self-Hosted n8n Lead Qualifier Scores Each Lead by Confidence and Asks for Approval on Borderline Ones

Advanced: technical, uses coding tools · Source-linked: links to the original post · Sales

Inbound leads usually either flood the CRM with spam or get wrongly rejected by rigid filters. This builder's self-hosted n8n workflow cleans each form submission with code, then an AI agent checks the prospect's profile, budget, timeline and scope against their ideal customer rubric and returns a confidence score. High-confidence leads go straight into the CRM and the onboarding email sequence. Borderline or low-confidence leads trigger an approval email, and only approved ones move on; the rest are logged as rejected. A second path reads replies to the email campaign: positive replies alert an admin for a personal close, uninterested ones are archived with no more automatic emails.

Copy this and paste it into Grok Bot:

When an email arrives in your own inbox that was forwarded from my Gmail with the tag +[taskname] in the To address, run the [routine name] routine right away. Ignore forwarded emails without a known tag and tell me about them. Once a day at [time], also check my Gmail for any tagged emails you might have missed, as a backup.
