What they did
With Claude Cowork controlling his Mac and iPhone Mirroring putting his phone on the same screen, he used Claude as his IT help desk. A 20-minute phone audit went through every settings screen: 9 things were already right and 6 needed fixing, including an uninstalled security update, Advanced Data Protection off, Private Relay off and two Safari protections off, each changed only after he said yes. On the Mac it found 1.2GB free on a 228GB disk, traced 104GB to an old work folder and 14GB to a stale Google Drive cache, and cleaned up Chrome (20 extensions, 28 processes, 5.1GB of memory, 60 sites allowed to send notifications). It wouldn't type his passcode or save his recovery key in email, and it told him which Face ID settings he had to change on the phone himself.
How it went
X post by @EvanKirstel (Oct 30, 2026 UTC): 125GB cleared (104GB old folder, 14GB Drive cache); 20-minute iPhone audit, 9 settings fine, 6 fixed; Chrome cleanup; refused passcodes and recovery keys; Face ID can't be changed through iPhone Mirroring. Give an agent screen control only on a machine where you can watch and stop it. Keep recovery keys on paper, as Apple advises

Prompt
Cleaned version rewritten from the source — not a direct quote.
Act as my IT help desk. First audit, don't fix: go through my [computer/phone] settings for security, privacy, storage and the apps slowing it down, and give me a ranked list of problems in plain words. I'll describe the symptom: [what's bugging me]. Then fix the items I approve, one at a time, checking with me before each change. Never type my passcode, never store recovery keys anywhere, and tell me which steps I have to do myself.

Try it in Grok Bot
Grok Bot can do this too: give it access to your computer and ask for the same audit-first checklist, approving each fix.
- Copy the prompt (button below).
- Open Grok Bot chat and paste it. Replace any [bracketed] placeholders.
- Connect the listed tools (Google Drive, Email) as connectors when Grok Bot asks.
- If the task repeats, ask: "Make this a daily routine."
Alternatives: the same prompt works in Claude Cowork, Claude, ChatGPT Agent, OpenClaw.
