What they did

In 2022 he bought an anonymous Telegram number on TON for $20, then forgot where the crypto wallet was. Four years later Claude told him the number goes for $3,300. Claude helped him find the wallet he had bought it with, and a whole day of searching for lookalike recovery phrases turned up two other wallets with $67 and $400. After notes apps and old iCloud backups came up empty, Claude had him back up his iPhone to his Mac with encryption and dig through it, and it recovered the password. He says Claude Code got him $3,300. Along the way the newer Opus model raised a cybersecurity flag and offered the older one.

How it went

X thread by @niqitasolovev (Oct 31, 2026 UTC): $20 anonymous TON number from 2022, valued at $3,300 per Claude; wallet password recovered from an encrypted iPhone backup on a Mac; two other wallets found with $67 and $400; Opus 5.5 cybersecurity flag, Opus 4.8 offered. Only do this on your own devices and accounts. Never paste a seed phrase into any chat, and move recovered funds to a fresh wallet

I own [wallet/account] but lost the password or recovery phrase. Help me search only my own devices and backups for it: [list notes apps, email, cloud backups, old phone backups]. Explain each step before you run it, never send any secret off this machine, and if you find something, show me where it is without printing the full secret in the chat.

Check a hospital bill against what Medicare would pay

A writer gave Claude the coded hospital claim (UB-04) for his late brother-in-law's $195,628 ER bill and asked it to build a spreadsheet of Medicare rates per code. Claude flagged bundled items billed separately, a bypass charge for a procedure that never happened, and a ventilation charge Medicare does not allow.
