What they did

Does your feed throw a new AI tool at you every day? A private equity professional pastes each new tool's link into his Hermes Agent and asks "useful for me or not". It reads the site and answers against what he actually runs, checking 3 things: how many agents would use it, whether it reaches the app he lives in all day (at work, his email only works through the desktop app), and whether his agent already does it. The last one he asked about got "not now, maybe later". He also had it list every change he'd made to it, and found some fixes would be wiped by the next update.

How it went

A quick yes/no/later on each new tool, based on your own setup.

Worth knowing

  • One X post. The agent's view depends on what you've told it about your setup, so keep that list up to date.

Prompt

Cleaned version rewritten from the source — not a direct quote.

Here's a link to a new tool: [link]. Read it and tell me if it's useful for me, based on what I actually use: [my setup]. Check 3 things: 1) how many of my agents or apps would use it, 2) does it work with [the app I use all day], 3) can you already do this? Answer yes, no or later, in 3 lines. Also list every change I've made to your setup and which ones would survive an update.

  3. Connect the listed tools (Email) as connectors when Grok Bot asks.
  4. If the task repeats, ask: "Make this a daily routine."

Alternatives: the same prompt works in Hermes Agent, Claude, ChatGPT Agent, OpenClaw.

Hermes Agent Nearly Doubled Speech-to-Text Accuracy on Hard Words: 99 to 183 of 240

A user turned his 15K saved Wispr Flow dictations into a test set for the local Whisper model behind his Hermes Agent. The agent turned his Wispr dictionary into a hint list, diffed raw vs corrected text to find words Whisper keeps mishearing, made find-and-fix rules, and tested every rule against the full history. With no fine-tuning, dictionary words went from 99/240 to 183/240 on Wispr clips and 19/45 to 43/45 on sentences he read aloud. It now archives the data nightly and looks for new fixes weekly.
