My favorite one today is a developer who's job hunting and got tired of answering the same interview questions. She had her Grok Bot build a voice assistant on her Hire me page that recruiters can talk to, with strict rules to only use the facts on the page and never make up a number. It had 111 conversations in its first day and a half, and she shared exactly what broke and what she fixed. — Gary |

111 conversations in a day and a half, about 13 cents a voice call
1. A Hire Me Page That Talks: Grok Bot Built a Voice Agent Recruiters Can Question, 111 Conversations in Its First Day and a Half
Intermediate: a bit of setup · Source-linked: links to the original post · Business ops
A developer looking for her next role had her Grok Bot build a voice assistant for her Hire me page, so recruiters can ask about her work out loud or by text. Grok Bot drafted the page, launched and reviewed the coding agents that wrote it, wrote the agent's spec and created it through the ElevenLabs API. She set the rules: answer only from her page and CV, never invent or round a number, say it's an AI assistant, and decline questions about her personal life or other job processes. It's tested with ElevenLabs agent tests and guardrails, had 111 conversations in its first day and a half, and a voice call costs her about 13 cents.

Intermediate: a bit of setup · Source-linked: links to the original post · Home / Life Admin
A user had their Vibe Coder and CTO Grok Bot templates set up a personal AI that answers every incoming call. Spam and robocalls get hung up on, real callers leave a message, and they get a note in the Grok Bot app saying who called and why. It runs on Twilio and Cloudflare Workers with voice from the Grok API, and its first real call took 56 seconds for under 10 cents.

28 tests and 6 merged pull requests by voice for about EUR 15
3. An Invoicing App Built by Voice on a Highway Drive: Grok Bot in Their Tesla Ran the Coding Agents, 28 Tests and 6 Merged Pull Requests for About EUR 15
Intermediate: a bit of setup · Source-linked: links to the original post · Business ops
On a drive from Brno to Prague and back, a Tesla owner used the Grok Bot built into their car to build their own small invoicing web app by voice, with no keyboard. Grok Bot acted as architect and developer, split the work among cloud coding agents, watched tests and merge conflicts, and checked in when it needed their approval. The app has PDF invoices with QR payment and a client link, company lookup from the Czech ARES registry, two-factor login, partial-payment tracking and an MCP server for dictating invoices. It came out to 28 automated tests and 6 merged pull requests for about EUR 15, and they moved their records over from the paid invoicing service they use.

4. A Family Budget Run by a Team of Single-Job Grok Bots: Bank Downloads, Store Order Matching, Categories and Only One Bot Allowed to Write to YNAB
Advanced: technical, uses coding tools · Source-linked: links to the original post · Money
A user split their family's budgeting into separate Grok Bots that each do one job. One pulls card and bank transactions through read-only Plaid connections and stages them as JSON. Others keep 30-day order histories from Walmart, Amazon and other stores and match refunds and split shipments. Another assigns categories and splits the confident ones, and once a week posts cards in Slack for the family to settle the unclear ones. Only one bot can write to YNAB, through a small CLI. The bots are defined in a private GitHub repo, re-save themselves when it changes and back up their data to Google Drive. They say it saves their family many hours of manual work a week.

10 scored topic ideas every Monday, top 5 approved with one tap
5. 10 Scored Blog Topic Ideas Every Monday, Approved With One Tap in Telegram: A Free n8n Topic Scout Using Gemini, Autocomplete and Reddit
Intermediate: a bit of setup · Source-linked: links to the original post · Content
A personal finance site owner built a free, open n8n workflow that suggests what to write next. Every Monday it reads seed keywords from a Google Sheet, pulls Google Autocomplete suggestions and trending Reddit questions, skips topics they've already covered, and asks Gemini in one call for 10 scored ideas. It logs them to the sheet and sends the top 5 to Telegram with an Approve button, and a tap marks the topic approved. They're upfront that the scores are AI estimates from free public signals, not real search volumes, and list the bugs that cost them an evening.

A Hire Me Page That Talks: Grok Bot Built a Voice Agent Recruiters Can Question, 111 Conversations in Its First Day and a Half Copy this and paste it into Grok Bot:
Help me add a voice assistant to my Hire me page at [URL] so recruiters can ask about my work. Use the facts on the page and my CV in [file] as its only source. Write a short spec first: the greeting and a system prompt with these rules: answer only from those facts and say so when something isn't there; never invent, estimate or round a number; say it's my AI assistant, not me; talk about me in the third person in a few sentences; decline questions about my personal life, health, family or other job processes; never commit to start dates or terms. Show me the spec before you create the agent in [voice agent platform]. Then add tests for each rule, including someone trying to talk it out of its rules, and run each test 3 times.
